Uncorked Conversations, from Atlanta playwright Bill Balzer, is a story about two retirees who develop a deep, authentic friendship in their later years, sitting on the back patio, drinking wine, and sharing emotional conversations about family, life, and growing old. Sincere, often humorous, it’s about middle-aged men finding an unexpected connection that will last decades. Inspired by the playwright’s real-life friendship with his next-door neighbor, Uncorked Conversations shows us new friendships are possible at any age.
